On-Air Personality
Drue was born in what would become silicon valley near San Francisco in 1974. The oldest of 3 boys, his father worked his way in the world of car sales to becoming the owner of a succesful Ford dealership in Plano, Texas. Drue grew up listening to iconic radio stations KZEW and Q102 during the 80s. He eventually wound up working on the very frequency he grew up listening to after 102.1 became The Edge in the 90s.
Drue was a true musicoligist whose major strength was his ravenous show prep. His mission was to connect Power FM listeners with the artists and not just play their music. Listening to his show was like going to the School of Christian Rock.
Drue came on board at Power FM in July of 2003 and hosted our afternoon drive show for almost 6 years. Believe it or not, Drue was a part-time employee all those years and had to work elswhere as well. In January, 2010 Drue left us for the television world heading to California to work for JCTV.
