On-Air Personality
After cutting his teeth on Christian rock greats like Daniel Amos and The 77s, Taylor was drawn to Power FM from the first listen. What started as a love for the music grew into an interest in radio, so when the time for college came, Taylor studied broadcasting at John Brown University.
When Taylor graduated, he returned to Dallas in 2012 to work for the station that had been the soundtrack of his life through junior high and high school. Taylor spent most of his years in afternoons before moving to mornings with Kindel.
Taylor was truly impressive right out of school and once Dawn left the station it was a no brainer to pass the morning show baton to him and Kindel in 2015.
When Power FM was acquired by Way Media, Taylor moved to Iowa in 2016 when his wife started medical school at Des Moines University. God lined up an opening at Life 107.1, a local Christian radio station, where Taylor still works as morning show host and program director. You can listen to his morning show podcast "The Breakfast Blend with Kristy and Taylor" wherever you get podcasts.
Taylor and his wife Lindsey now live in West Des Moines, Iowa with two cats, a dog, and their miracle baby, Silas.
